Eric maintains his overall lead with 93 pts. It's a tight game right now with 8 Weeks left. After this week we'll be back to picking 16 games a week, which should make things a little more interesting coming into the home stretch.
As for NFL news...
This just in, Adrian Peterson is better at football than you. If he were to run all over the Packers in Lambeau (a la Moss' amazing rookie game in Lambeau - 5 catches 190 yards & 2 TDs) that would make my memory of Moss a little more hazy...which would be nice.
Todd in Customer Service didn't get a Win from his Chiefs this week against the Packers, but he may get a long look at Priest Holmes this Sunday after LJ's injury. I can't believe that Priest might start another game. The only thing that could make that scenario more ridiculous would be if the Chiefs were somehow able to start Trent Green at QB.
New England's defense decided to show up in the 4th quarter and get a win, after they spent the first 3 quarters making Joseph Addai look like NFL rookie of the year, Adrian Peterson. I took a $10 bet with our CEO - Mark, that NE would cover a 5 point spread. I thought that last INT might go for 6 and I'd win... but instead I'll have to hear about if for the next month.
Prediction for the week: MIN 30 GB 21 AP - 125 yards, 2 TDs
Good luck with Week 10 Picks!
Comments1. Submitted by: Mark Redetzke on 06 November 2007More ridiculous? Look for a combination of Barry Word and Christian Okoye to be lead blocking for Priest Holmes on Sunday! 2. Submitted by: Matt O'Laughlin on 06 November 2007A note on the most recent email. The score in the most recent email for a handful of people was inaccurate. The scores have since been changed and are completely accurate. You'll see the changes reflected next week. Sorry for any confusion. I hope that even though there are a few glitches here and there, you're all enjoying the challenge! Good luck next week! - Matt 3. Submitted by: Matt O'Laughlin on 08 November 2007HAZAAH! Good Luck this weekend. Go Vikes! 4. Submitted by: Bryan on 09 November 2007New England would have more than covered the spread, if those terrible pass interference calls weren`t made. Ellis Hobbs did NOT interfere, and Moss did not committ offensive interference. I don`t usually complain about the officials, but that crew was terrible. 5. Submitted by: Ray on 10 November 2007Bryan, figures you're from MA. Your cheatin Pats still won, so what are you complaining about? Moss gets away with offensive pass inteference all the time, that was just a catch up call. I do agree that both those calls were questionable, but Moss had a call go his way even though he still caught the ball. Let's face it, NE doesn't win that game without Moss and god only help your team if Brady goes down. Who's the backup again? 6. Submitted by: Mark on 10 November 2007Moss gets more offensive pass interference calls than ANY receiver in the league. Having watched him for 5 or so glorious years in MN, I can tell you the refs singled him out on those calls. Sometimes he's guilty of it, but usually it's a bad call.
The back up in NE is the luckiest dude around.... |
