A quick procedural point: Second Act offices will be closed this Memorial Day - Monday, May 26th. We'll be back in the offices and warehouse Tuesday morning (5/27).

We have two new hires!

The most recent of which is Stein Thorbeck (and yes, we're all jealous of his name too). Stein will be working with some of our wholesale accounts and sales related questions. He's a veteran in the electronics industry working at Best Buy for 7+ years. Rumors of a possible showroom in our new office space could see his role expanding as early as July/August!

Our other new addition has been with us for about 5 weeks now and her name is Tiffany Toro (although she'll be changing her last name officially in a few days as she GOT MARRIED LAST WEEKEND!). Tiffany is a Customer Service veteran who worked with Best Buy for a number of years. She'll be helping out with Customer Service issues and any Spanish speaking customers.

We just signed the lease on the warehouse and office space right next door to our current location, so we'll be doubling in size which will be very nice. I mentioned above that we've been throwing around the idea of adding a showroom in this new space. Nothing is final, but it's a possibility.

Long weekend is arriving soon. We're ready.

I think it would be great to have a showroom on site for your local customers. When I won the football contest last year (THANK YOU!!), and wanted to upgrade the prize, being able to look at a few models I was interested in side by side would have been a great option. Also it would be nice for anyone I refer to you guys to be able to see the products in person and take it home the same day. There are still a lot of people who are apprehensive about buying refurbished products, and I think that being able to see a display model would alleviate a lot of their concern.
