HDfury 1080p24, PS3 to PH8

I understand that a recent update to the ps3 can force it to output blueray at 1080p24. My PHD8 can except this via the VGA input. Therefore, if I add an HDfury to convert HDMI to VGA will this eliminate the 3:2 pulldown judder? Can anyone confirm this please? thanks
